Explorers Extended Day

Explorers provides care for students until 6 p.m. following their grade-level dismissal at the end of the school day. Explorers Extended Day begins on the first day of school. There is no after care on:

• Half Days
• School Closure Days
• Conference Days

We are proud to offer a number of enrichment classes to Pre-K through 4th grade.  These classes provide your child with options to add extra excitement to their stay in Explorers. 

These popular six-week enrichment classes are available each semester for an additional fee and are led by experienced internal and external instructors. Examples of offerings include Golf, Ballet/Tap, Karate, Science, Tennis and much more. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, with limited space, so please consult the school calendar for registration dates.

Billing

• Fall semester bills sent by the end of September.
• Spring semester bills sent by the end of February.

Fees
All fees are per semester. You will receive a bill from the business office; payments should be submitted there, as Explorers personnel cannot accept payments. A late fee of $5 per minute per child will be charged for pick-ups after 6 p.m.

Lower School Transfer to EC Fee - $490
This optional service is available for families with siblings in Early Childhood and Lower School. It allows for a single pick-up with both children picked up together at the Early Childhood front desk.

Fall semester: Registration opens on May 9th and is due on June 30th. Registration for enrolled students will remain the same unless changes are made before December 1. New enrollment will be accepted based on availability and can not be guaranteed.

How to obtain receipts for taxes and Dependent Care Reimbursement

If you have a Dependent Care Reimbursement plan and need a receipt for enrichment classes and/or Explorers after care, please find the session you need by following the procedures listed below. 

• Log into your FACTS account and choose the option to View Details.
• Choose View Payment Summary.
• Select the year 202X in the drop down and click Print. Note our Federal Tax ID prints in the top right corner of the report. Federal Tax ID: 58-1495174
• Alternatively, to print only Explorers information, select Transactions and use the drop down boxes to filter the specific Explorers information desired. This will show the Dates in Service (these are also on the invoice you are sent from the FACTS system).
