"Kids Helping Kids" Service Project Stretches Beyond St. Martin's

The results are in! The St. Martin's community collected 232 books, 99 family first-aid kits, 53 hygiene kits, and more for donation to the Good Samaritan Health Center for the school's 23rd annual "Kids Helping Kids" service learning project. Like previous years, St. Martin's families and employees generously donated basic medical and personal supplies to benefit Atlanta's children and families in need. However, this year's project was different in a big way: a box of socks was shipped from Los Angeles to Atlanta to be included in the donation.
St. Martin's 6th grader Will Buie brought the service project with him to Los Angeles where he co-stars in Disney Channel's "Bunk'd." Will and his castmates collected socks and presented them to more than 50 people including Disney executives, producers and crew before shipping them to Atlanta. When the box arrived in Atlanta, the SOLVE Jr. Club delivered the socks and other donations to the Good Samaritan Health Center where they met with the center's founder, Dr. Warren, and learned more about the center's work from its employees.
