Avalana Brock Makes SMES Spelling Bee History

St. Martin’s Episcopal School (SMES) 7th grade student Avalana Brock made SMES history by advancing to Round 3 of the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) Unit Spelling Bee for middle school students held on Feb. 26, 2019 at The Atlanta Academy in Roswell, Ga. Brock was runner-up at the internal SMES Middle School Spelling Bee, and then advanced through two rounds of state-level competition before placing in the top 15 of Round 3.
