Ways to Give

Advancement

There are so many ways to engage and participate in the life of our school. Your support of SMES ensures that our students are inspired and lifted by out community, building on a strong tradition of philanthropy that ensures that the school meets its highest aspirations, day after day, year after year.

The Advancement Department exists to build relationships between the school and our families to create a culture of philanthropy. Like most independent schools, St. Martin's relies on philanthropic support from our community to sustain and enhance our excellent programs while advancing the mission of our school.

The primary sources of non-tuition income include: The St. Martin's Fund, or annual giving campaign; Georgia GOAL, a state tax-credit program for need-based financial assistance; and the Golf Tournament, our annual golf tournament benefiting the SMES Endowment. As capital and infrastructure needs arise, SMES launches special capital fundraising campaigns.

Ultimately, all gifts to SMES allow the school financial flexibility, and to operate with a balanced budget.

Support from alumni, parents, grandparents and friends strengthens us today while ensuring a solid tomorrow. We welcome everyone to actively participate in the life of our school!
