The Spirit of St. Martin’s
At St. Martin’s Episcopal School, our faculty, staff, and families are committed to providing a strong educational experience in a nurturing environment. More than 575 children in preschool through 8th grade learn, grow, and excel at St. Martin’s.
It has long been the school’s vision to create a larger, purpose-built space to meet the unique needs of the youngest students. When a devastating fire destroyed the home of St. Martins’ Early Childhood Program in July 2017, the school had to accelerate its timeline for addressing this vision. After several months of careful planning, the school decided to restore what was lost and build a foundation for future growth.
Together We Build
In early 2018, St. Martin’s launched the Together We Rise
campaign, a $5.5 million fundraising effort to:
- Replace the destroyed home of the Early Childhood program with a transformative new space that will double the size of the original building (19,000 sq.-ft.) and offer additional classrooms, a multi-purpose space, and a STEAM village including an expanded science lab, tinker space, art room, and an outdoor classroom and natural play area.
- Expand the Elementary School STEAM lab to take better advantage of adjacent outdoor space.
- Replace the turf that students use daily, and address other renovations needed within Warrior Hall.
We are grateful for gifts of any amount. Donors who give $10,000 and above will be recognized on a donor wall in Claiborne Hall. Additional naming opportunities are listed below. Thank you to the families who have helped us raise 95% of our goal to date.
