2018-2019 Explorer Fees per semester

  • Fee Overview - Policy

    • There are many options for enrollment for the semester:
      • You can choose from 1 to 5 days of care.
      • These days must be static days, no floating days. 
      • Kindergarten students have the option of attending:
        • From 2:50 pm dismissal until 6:00 pm.
        • From 2:50 pm dismissal and then being escorted by Explorers at no additional charge to the 3:15 pm mixed carpool and well as be taken to the bus and to the walker area. 
      • 1st through 8th grade
        • Do not have an carpool option with Explorers but can be picked up from the main school entrance while in our care from 3:00 to 4:00 pm and after 4:00 pm all dismissals are from the EC entrance.
      • 3rd through 8th graders also have the option to attend Study Hall and must be pick up by 4:30 pm to avoid additional drop-in fees.
        • Please realize that if you select study hall for enrollment for the semester it is for Monday through Friday whether your child attends or not.
        • Please do not also enroll in the Explorer option to stay until 6:00 pm. as that is double enrollment. Select one option or the other. 
    • Registration for Fall semester is due by July 1. This allows us to schedule and staff for the coming year.
    • Registration for Spring semester will stay the same as the Fall unless changes are made to your registration form in December prior to Christmas holiday. New enrollments will be accepted at this time.
     
    Explorer’s ends at 6:00 pm. 
    • There is a LATE FEE associated with all pick ups after that time.  
    • The fee is $5 per minute per child.
    • Parents will be billed for this charge by the business office.
    • Please call the Explorers cell phone to let us know if you will be running late. This number is only answered after 3:00 pm. Also save the number for future use. It is 404-421-7697.
     
     
    Explorers Fees:
    • All Fees are per semester see below for specific amounts.
    • You will receive a bill from the business office and should remit payment to that office.
    • Explorers personnel does not accept payments.
  • Before Care - Fee Schedule (Toddler - 8th grade)

      For semester enrollment (billed in September and February):
      • Toddlers-8th Grade - 7:15 - 7:45 AM
        • 5 Days -  $440
        • 4 Days  - $370
        • 3 Days  - $310
        • 2 Days  - $250
        • 1 Day  - $190
      For drop-in care (billed at the end of each month):
      • Toddlers-8th Grade - 7:15 - 7:45 AM
        • $10 per occurrence
      NOTE: AM Explorers is FREE after 7:45 am on Wednesday late arrival. No drop in form is needed.
    • After Care - Fee Schedule (Toddler, Beginner & PK)

      Explorers aftercare utilized a block billing structure. Fees listed below are for one semester of care.
      • For semester enrollment for Explorers after care (billed in September and February):
        • Toddlers, Beginners and Pre-K
          • 1:15 pm – 3:15 pm (includes 2 snack daily at 3:00 & 5:00 pm)
            • 5 days - $720
            • 4 days - $600
            • 3 days - $480
            • 2 days - $360
            • 1 day - $240  
          • 1:15 pm – 6:00 pm (includes 2 snacks daily at 3:00 & 5:00 pm)
            • 5 days - $2150
            • 4 days - $1750
            • 3 days - $1340
            • 2 days - $940
            • 1 day - $530
      • For drop-in care in Explorers After Care (billed at the end of each month):
        • Toddlers, Beginners and Pre-K
          • Drop-in from 1:15 pm – 3:15 pm = $15 (includes 1 snack daily at 3:00 pm)
          • Drop-in from 1:15 pm – 6:00 pm = $35 (includes 2 snacks daily at 3:00 & 5:00 pm)
    • After Care - Fee Schedule (Kindergarten - 8th grade)

          • Drop-in from 3:15 pm – 6:00 pm = $25 (includes 2 snack daily at 3:15 and 5:00 pm)

    Dependent Care Reimbursement

    • How to obtain receipts for taxes and Dependent Care Reimbursement

      If you have a Dependent Care Reimbursement plan and need a receipt for summer camp, enrichment classes and/or Explorers after care, please find the session you need by following the procedures listed below.  NOTE:  For tax year 2018, there are different procedures for obtaining a receipt depending on the session(s) your child attended.

      For Spring 2018 and Fall 2018 Explorer aftercare receipts

      For SPRING 2018 Holiday Camp and/or Enrichment Classes AND 2018 Summer Camp receipts:
      • Log in here with your email address and password. 
      • After logging in, scroll to the bottom of the page to the section titled "Existing Registrations" and choose the "Statement" button to the far right.

      For FALL 2018 and SPRING 2019 Holiday Camp and/or Enrichment Classes AND 2019 Summer Camp receipts:
      • Log in to the account used to register for Enrichment classesholiday camp or summer camp.
      • After logging in, click the red button with the wording "View Registration Details" 
      • On the next page find the  section on the right titled "Financial" and click the  hyperlink that reads "Download Printable Season Account Statement"
