Hours
- Toddlers, Beginners and Pre-Kindergarten aftercare starts at 1:30 p.m.
- Kindergarten aftercare starts at 2:50 p.m.
- ES aftercare starts at 3:15 p.m.
- MS aftercare starts at 3:30 p.m.
Schedule
1:20 pm Prepare for nap time.
2:30 pm Wake up from a nap, gather students for departure.
3:00 pm Carpool group escorted out.
3:30 pm Outdoor/indoor play depending on the weather.
4:30 pm Organized games, centers or arts & crafts.
5:30 pm Clean-up/storytime while waiting for pick up.
1:20 pm Prepare for nap time.
2:30 pm Wake up those students leaving at 2:50 pm carpool.
3:00 pm Take carpool group out,
3:10 pm Wake up those students not leaving in carpool, serve snack
3:30 pm Outdoor/Indoor play depending on weather
4:30 pm Organized games, centers or arts & crafts
5:30 pm Clean-up/Story time while waiting for pick up
4:30 pm Study hall ends, but students can continue working.
4:45 pm Quiet play, organized activities, games/free play/outside play.
5:15 pm Continued play or homework until pick up.
3:15 pm Study hall starts for those who have homework.
3:45 pm Outdoor/indoor play for those who have finished homework.
4:30 pm Study hall ends, but students can continue working.
4:45 pm Quiet play, organized activities, games/free play/outside play.
5:15 pm Continued play or time for homework until pick up.
Enrollment Options, Drop-In Information and Fees
There are two options:
- Enroll for the semester.
- Use care on a drop-in basis.
Semester enrollment
- This option is for the fall semester, from August through December, and then for the spring semester, from January through May.
- This option is best when set set days of care are needed.
- Enrollment is due:
- By July 1 for the fall semester prior to the start of the school year to plan for the upcoming year.
- Changes or cancellations for the spring semester are due between December 1 and the last day prior to Christmas break.
- We accept changes to the schedules until the end of September for the fall semester, and until the end of January for the spring semester. We do not take any new enrollments or changes to schedules after those times.
- You must complete the Explorer enrollment form for semester enrollment:
- It will require you to create an account.
- Please make a note of your login and password for this account.
- Fees are billed per semester in September and February for this option.

Drop-in care
- This option is for an occasional need for care, emergencies or events that fall outside of your regular schedule.
- The online drop-in form must be completed to notify Explorers of the drop-in dates.
- Fill out the form for:
- Each day you need drop-in care.
- Only one day at a time can be entered; please do not enter multiple days on one form.
- Dates may be entered in advance.
- Each child must be entered separately. Do not list multiple children on one form.
- Use the notes section to indicate other pertinent information. Email your child's teacher to advise that the child is dropping in to Explorers.
- Once the form is opened, we will respond that it was received.
- Fill out the form for:
- Block billing means you will receive your bill after the end of the month drop-ins are incurred.

- Drop-in from 1:15 - 3:15 pm = $15 - includes 1 snack daily
- Drop-in from 1:15 - 6:00 pm = $35 - includes 2 snack daily
- Kindergarten - 8th grade
- Drop-in from 3:15 pm - 6:00 pm = $25 - includes 2 snacks daily

How to make changes to enrollment?
Permanent changes to semester enrollment
- An example of permanent changes would be changing the days of care you need or the departure time. It also includes updating addresses, phone numbers or the emergency contacts or escorts you allow to pick up your child.
- To make these changes permanent:
- Go the account you created when you enrolled.
- Enter your login and password.
- Select or deselect the options you need to change or enter changes.
- Explorers staff will receive an email when changes have been made and will make the appropriate adjustments.
Temporary changes to semester enrollment
- Examples of temporary changes in the schedule are “John’s Grandmother, Mary Jones, is picking up on Friday,” or “Sally is going on a playdate with Theresa on Monday” or “James doesn’t need to ride the bus today; instead he’s going home in 1:30 lunch bunch pickup."
- To make temporary changes:
- Use the Drop-in/Departure Change notification form.
- Enter the needed information.
- Please use the “Explorer Departure Instructions” section to outline all needed information.
Changes to a scheduled drop-in
- A change to a schedule drop-in is once you've completed a form for a drop-in, and need to cancel it or change it, i.e. if your child was going to be picked up by a neighbor, Jane Doe, but will now be picked up by her grandmother, Mary Smith.
- To make temporary changes:
- Use the Drop-in/Departure Change notification form
- Enter in the needed information.
- Please use the “Explorer Departure Instructions” section to outline everything we need to know.

Important Dates

September 30 - no new enrollments or changes will be accepted for the Fall semester. Only drop-in care will be available.
December 1 – last day of school prior to Christmas holiday. Changes to schedules or cancellations for the Spring semester are due.
January 31 - no new enrollments or changes will be accepted for the Spring semester. Only drop-in care will be available.
Billing from the business office will be sent out in September for Fall Semester.

How to obtain receipts for taxes and Dependent Care Reimbursement
If you have a Dependent Care Reimbursement plan and need a receipt for summer camp, enrichment classes and/or Explorers after care, please find the session you need by following the procedures listed below.

Log into your FACTS account and choose the option to View Details.

Choose View Payment Summary.

Select the year 202X in the drop down and click Print. Note our Federal Tax ID prints in the top right corner of the report. Federal Tax ID: 58-1495174

Alternatively, to print only Explorers information, select Transactions and use the drop down boxes to filter the specific Explorers information desired. This will show the Dates in Service (these are also on the invoice you are sent from the FACTS system).

For Summer Camp, Holiday Camp or Enrichment Receipts::

Log in to the account used to register for Enrichment classes, holiday camp or summer camp.

After logging in, click the red button with the wording "View Registration Details"
